Kline creates a euphoric blend of other-worldly voices and bells. Unsilent Night is the first recording of this 21st century ritual. Perfect as an avant-garde stocking stuffer! It's like a Christmas caroling party except that we don't sing, but rather carry boom boxes, each playing a separate tape or CD which is part of the piece. In effect, we become a city-block-long stereo system. Each participant gets one of four tracks of music in the form of a cassette, CD, or Mp3.

Together all four tracks comprise Unsilent Night. The fact that the participants play different "parts" simultaneously helps create the special sound of the piece. Participants carry boomboxes, or anything that amplifies music, and simultaneously start playing the music. If you plan on using an mp3 player, please bring a set of speakers — the louder the better!
